About Me



Hello! My name is Mrs. Carolyn Cusick-McGee.  I go by Mrs. McGee.  I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten.  It is my favorite grade/age!  I have been teaching with FISD for 8 years now.  I am certified to teach early childhood (pre-school) through to fourth grade.  I am also certified in Special Education and English as a Second Language (ESL).  I have two children, (boys) Dylan and Matthew.  I am newly re-married (2011) to Brady McGee. He is a wonderful man and a great step dad too!  I have a beloved cat named Newman who you will most likely hear about
throughout the year as I use him as a "muse" during writing.  The kids love hearing about him and sometimes even write about him too!
I hope you enjoy visiting my class blog. I will use my class blog for posting class pictures or any fun or special things we are doing at school that can be communicated via picture or video.  To view pictures you will need to click on the "pictures" tab on my home page.  With the addition of SeeSaw as a parent communication tool, I do not want my blog to be another place you "have" to go.  I just want to post pictures to let you have a "peak"into our classroom.  (some teachers use SeeSaw for their pictures, however, I like to keep the pictures on my blog so that you do not have so much to scroll through each time you are on SeeSaw).
